Louis Oosthuizen stayed consistent on Saturday as he carded his second-successive four-under-par 68 in the third round of the Asian Tour’s Link Hong Kong Open at Hong Kong Golf Club in Deep Water Bay, Hong Kong.

After his opening eight-under 62 took him into contention, Oosthuizen has stayed in touch with the leader, Tom MicKibbin of Northern Ireland.

However, McKibbin is looking as if he will be tough to catch, even if Oosthuizen is just fours strokes back going into the final round. The Northern Irishman carded his second-successive five-under 65, and, with his opening round of 10-under, is sitting pretty at 20-under. He is one clear of American MJ Maguire, with Peter Uihlein on 18-under.

Oosthuizen made two birdies on the front nine and three on the back. He dropped a shot on the par-four sixth, and he shared sixth place with American Charles Howell III.

Charl Schwartzel continued his climb up the leaderboard with a third round of five-under 65 lifting him into a share of 18th on 12-under-par.

Ian Snyman battled to a third round of four-over 74, and slipped to 68th on three-under-par through 54 holes.
