Lee-Anne Pace matched her opening round’s score of three-under-par on Sunday as she closed out the Ladies European Tour’s Big Green Egg Open at the Hilversumsche Golf Club in the Netherlands with a 69 to finish in a share of 21st.

Pace made five birdies and two bogeys to finish the 54-hole tournament on five-under-par, seven shots behind the winner. Trichat Cheenglab of Thailand took her maiden LET title with a closing five-under 67 taking her to 12-under and a one-stroke win over Nicole Broch Estrup of Denmark and Wales’ Lydia Hall.

“I’m very happy,” the 28-year-old Cheenglab said. “I didn’t think my first victory would come this fast! Today I just did what I had to do. I made a lot of birdies.”

With the dramatic maiden triumph, Cheenglab becomes the second rookie to win on the LET this season after Patricia Isabel Schmidt landed the Amundi German Masters. She becomes the seventh Thai player to win on the LET, joining Pornanong Phatlum, Ariya Jutanugarn, Thidapa Suwannapura, Supamas Sangchan, Pajaree Anannarukarn and Atthaya Thittikul in the circle.

Nicole Garcia finished on stroke behind Pace on four-under for the week after she fought her way to a closing level-par 72. She was in a share of 25th.
