Ashleigh Buhai signed for a two-under-par 68 on Friday to be in a share of 45th after the second round of the LPGA Tour’s The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.
After opening with a level-par 70 in the first round, Buhai made four birdies and two bogeys. At two-under for the tournament, she was 10 strokes behind the leader, Emily Kristine Pedersen of Denmark. Pedersen led by two from Minami Katsu of Japan. Jasmine Suwannapura of Thailand was in third on nine-under-par.
The other South African in the field, Paula Reto, carded a second-round one-under-par 69, and, at level-par for the tournament, she missed the cut which came ay one-under-par.
