Aldrich Potgieter made a bit of a comeback on Friday in the second round of the Korn Ferry Tour’s Panama Championship in Panama City as he carded a one-under-par 69 to move to one-over for the tournament.
His six birdies, three bogeys and a double-bogey lifted him into a share of 35th, four strokes behind the leaders Isaiah Salinda of the United States, Argentina’s Augusto Nunez, and Americans Ryan Gerard and Austin Hitt.
Potgieter leads the Korn Ferry Tour standings after his win in the Bahamas last week, and has shown his ability to go low in the final stages of a tournament. That means being four back of the lead is actually a pretty good place for him.
