Robin Williams continued on his remarkable way on the Challenge Tour on Sunday with a closing four-under-par 67 giving him third place in the Farmfoods Scottish Challenge supported by the R&A at Newmachar Golf Club in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

His final round followed a superb six-under-par 65 in the third round, and his third-place finish saw him climb three places on the Challenge Tour’s Road to Mallorca rankings to fifth. At the end of each season, the top 20 players on the Road to Mallorca earn promotion to the DP World Tour. Williams is already exempt on to the 2025 DP World Tour thanks to his second-place finish on the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit during his Rookie of the Year performance last season.

Williams dropped just one shot during his final two rounds in Scotland, and that was on the par-three 15th in the fourth round. He finished the tournament on 13-under, one stroke behind runner-up Hamish Brown of Denmark. They were both a long way off the commanding winning score of 22-under set by England’s Brandon Robinson Thompson.

Bryce Easton rounded out a solid week with a six-under 65 lifting him 14 places on the leaderboard to seventh on 11-under.

Deon Germishuys closed with a three-under 68 to share eighth on 10-under, a showing that lifted him to 10th on the Road to Mallorca list. Behind him, Wilco Nienaber remained in 17th on that list after he closed the tournament with a three-under 68 for a total of eight-under and a share of 17th.

Louis Albertse, who, like Williams, is already exempt onto the DP World Tour via his third-place finish on the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit, finished with a four-under 67. That put him in a share of 52nd.
