Thomas Aiken made an early bogey on Saturday, but he still managed to card a third-round three-under-par 68 in the DP World Tour’s Danish Golf Championship at Lübker Golf Resort in Aarhus, Denmark to stay in contention for another top-10 finish.

At six-under-par for the tournament, he will head into the final round in a share of 11th, six strokes behind the leader, Lucas Bjerregaard of Denmark. His five-under-par 66 in the third round took him to 12-under for the tournament and a two-stroke lead over Romain Langasque of France. Danish amateur Jacob Skov Olesen was in third on nine-under.

Aiken dropped a shot on the second hole, but he made birdies on eight, nine, 12 and 14 on his way to his 68. If he stays in that vicinity on the leaderboard, or climbs even higher, he is projected to climb close to the top 70 in the Race to Dubai and take another step to regaining his full playing rights on the DP World Tour.

Oliver Bekker had a four-under-par 67 in the third round, and, at four-under for the tournament, was in a share of 25th. One shot further back on three-under was JJ Senekal, who had a one-under 70 to be in a share of 33rd.

Justin Walters had a two-over 73 and slipped to a share of 49th on one-under. Robin Williams also had a bad day at the office as his four-over 75 saw him drop to three-over and a share of 67th with Jacques Kruyswijk, who had a two-over 73.
