His second nine was a bit more eventful than his first on Thursday, and Bryce Easton eventually carded a five-under-par 65 in the first round of the Challenge Tour’s Rosa Challenge Tour event at Rosa Golf Club in Konopiska, Poland.
His seven birdies and two bogeys gave him a share of third, two shots off the early lead, with Sweden’s Jens Fahrbring and Alex Levy of France carding opening rounds of seven-under-par 63 to hit the front. Easton shared third with three other players.
He started his round on the 10th, and he had three birdies in the bag by the time he turned on to the front nine at three-under 32. On his way home, he made four more birdies, but he dropped shots on the second and the fifth.
Deon Germishuys had a two-under-par 68 in his opening round, and was in a share of 28th.
