Higgo into top 10 in Procore Championship with 2nd-round 5-under-par 67

Garrick Higgo had a five-under-par 67 on Friday in the second round of the PGA Tour’s Procore Championship at the North Course of the Silverado Resort in Napa, California, to move into a share of 10th.

Higgo opened with a two-under-par 70 in the first round, and he had picked up five birdies without dropping a shot through 13 holes in his second round. He made two bogeys in the next four holes, but matched those with birdies on 16 and 18.

At seven-under, he was six shots off the lead which was held by Patton Kizzire of the United States. He led by one from David Lipsky, and defending champion Sahith Theegala was on nine-under-par in sixth place on his own.
