Adilson Da Silva maintained his recent good form on Friday with an opening three-under-par 69 in the first round of the Legends Tour’s WINSTONgolf Senior Open in Vorbeck, Germany to take a share of fourth.

Da Silva did all his scoring on the front nine, with four birdies and a bogey, and he made his way home with pars all the way. He finished 18 holes two strokes off the lead which was held by Scotland’s Gary Orr. Sweden’s Patrik Sjoland and Englishman Andrew Marshall were one stroke back on four-under, and Da Silva, the Order of Merit leader, shared fourth with Phillip Archer of England.

Keith Horne had a one-over 73 and James Kingston was on two-over
