Garrick Higgo carded a four-under-par 68 on Saturday to move up the leaderboard into a share of 30th after the third round of the PGA Tour’s Worldwide Technology Championship in Mexico.

Justin Lower of the United States shot the low round of the day, his none-under-par 63 lifting him into a three-way share of the lead with Nico Echavarria of Colombia and American Carson Young at 16-under.

Higgo eagled the last to finish a round that contained five birdies, a bogey and a double-bogey as well. He has improved progressively during the week after opening with a two-under 70 and following that with a three-under 69.

Defending champion Erik van Rooyen had a second-successive one-under-par 71 to move to four-under-par for the tournament, and he is looking unlikely to be able to successfully defend the title he won in such emotional circumstances last year.
