Shaun Norris stayed right in the hunt on Friday with a three-under-par 69 in the second round of the Japan Golf Tour’s Hana Bank Invitational at Heaven Country Club in Ansan, South Korea.

Norris made four birdies and a bogey as he moved to nine-under-par for the tournament. That put him in a share of seventh, three strokes behind the lead which was held at 12-under by Justin De Los Santos of the Philippines.

The South African started on the 10th hole with two birdies in a row, but he dropped a shot on the 12th. He made another birdie on the 18th ahead of the turn, and he stayed bogey-free on his homeward run as he picked up another stroke on the sixth hole.
