Swart goes low on Par-3 course at Serengeti for lead in Srixon Series #3

Stals Swart was the only player under par on Tuesday in the second round of the Bushveld Tour’s Srixon Series #3 which was played on the Serengeti Par-Three Championship course.

Swart carded a four-under-par 50, while several players managed to produce level-par 54s. The result was that Swart pulled out to a three-stroke lead over Tyron Davidowitz and Dylan Mostert, after he opened with a two-under 72 in the first round on the main course at Serengeti Country Estate.

Swart made seven birdie-twos on the short course, and dropped three shots as Davidowitz carded a level-par 54 with one birdie and one bogey, while Mostert signed for a three-over 57 with two birdies and five bogeys.

In a share of fourth were Christiaan Pretorius, James Mack and Haydn Porteous, as well as amateur CJ van Wyk and Sunshine Ladies Tour professional Kiera Floyd.

Zimbabwe’s David Amm was ninth, and Harry Konig of England and Oliver Goldhill shared 10th on one-over-par through 36 holes.
