Ashleigh Buhai closed with a bogey-free five-under-par 67 for her best round of the week in the final round of the LPGA Tour’s BMW Ladies Championship at Pine Beach Golf Links in Haenam, South Korea.

Buhai made three birdies on the front nine and two more on the way home as she moved to 11-under-par for the tournament and a share of 31st place. She was 13 strokes behind the winner, Sei Young Kim of Korea, who closed with a 67 to finish on 24-under-par. That was four strokes ahead of runner-up Nasa Hataoka of Japan, who also had a final round of 67.

It was Kim’s 13th career title since joining the tour in 2015, and ended a five-year long drought since her last tournament victory at the Women’s PGA Championship in 2020. Kim, 32, finished with a four-round total of 24-under-264, with the South Korean only dropping a shot at the par-three third before finding six birdies through the remainder of the round to comfortably hold her closest rival, Hataoka, at bay.

Defending champion Hannah Green shot 66 and finished at 17-under 271 in a share for fifth with Yealimi Noh (70) of the United States. Fellow American Lindy Duncan (65) was a shot further back in a three-way tie for seventh with South Korean pair Choi Hye-jin (63) and An Na-rin (63) who shared the lowest round of the day.

Paula Reto of South Africa closed with a three-under-par 69 to finish on even-par for the tournament in a share of 70th.
