Ashleigh Buhai carded a two-under-par 70 on Saturday to move into a six-way share of 11th after the third round of the LPGA Mediheal Championship at Lake Merced Golf Club in Daly City, California.

She made four birdies and two bogeys to go with her opening pair of one-under 71s as she set herself up for the final round five shots off the lead held by Min Lee of Taiwan. Switzerland’s Albane Valenzuela and A Lim Kim of the United States shared fourth on six-under, while five players were one shot ahead of Buhai on five-under.

Buhai will be paired with former world number one Lydia Ko of New Zealand and American Danielle Kang in the final round.

Meanwhile, on the PGA Tour Champions circuit, Retief Goosen signed for his second successive four-under-par 68 to move into a share of third place ahead of the final round of the American Family Insurance Championship in Madison, Wisconsin.

Goosen made five birdies and just a single bogey to move to eight-under for the tournament, two shots off the lead held by Spain’s Miguel Angel Jiminez. Fred Couples is one stroke back in second, while Goosen shared third with Jerry Kelly and Jim Furyk.

On the Korn Ferry Tour in the BMW Charity Pro-Am, Tyrone van Aswegen and Dawie van der Walt each carded third rounds of three-under 69, which actually saw them slip seven spots down the leaderboard into a share of 39th at 10-under, well behind the leader Justin Lower of the United States who was on 23-under.
