Rebula inside top 20 heading into final round in Saudi Arabia

Jovan Rebula kept himself in the mix on Saturday in the Asian Tour’s PIF Saudi International at Royal Greens Golf and Country Club as he carded a third-round one-under-par 71 to be in a share of 16th place on three-under heading into the final round.

Rebula made three birdies and two bogeys in his round, and he will start the final round nine shots off the lead which is held by Harold Varner III of the United States at 12-under-par after a third round of two-under 68. He led by one from Spain’s Adri Arnaus, with Tommy Fleetwood in third on 10-under-par.

Behind Rebula, Harding bounced back with a four-under-par 66 to climb into a share of 32nd on level-par for the tournament. Jaco Ahlers was also on level-par after the third round during which he carded a 70, while JC Ritchie crashed to a seven-over 77 in the third round to slide all the way down the leaderboard to a share of 38th on one-over.
