Lee-Anne Pace carded her third one-over-par 73 on Sunday to finish the Ladies European Tour’s season-opener Magical Kenya Ladies Open in a share of fifth place.
She made on birdie on the front nine as she turned on one-under-par 35, but she made a double-bogey and a bogey together with a birdie on the homeward nine as she finished the week on five-over-par, seven shots behind the winner, Esther Henseleit of Germany. Henseleit closed with a two-under 70 to edge Marta Sanz Barrio by one shot after the Spaniard signed for a three-under 69.
Nobuhle Dlamini of Swaziland closed well with a one-under 71 to climb into a share of eighth on six-over-par. Stacy Bregman had a one-over 73 to finish on 10-over for the tournament in a share of 26th. Casandra Alexander had a four-over 76 and was in a share of 51st.
