Casandra Alexander finished in a share of 10th place on Saturday in the Ladies European Tour’s Jabra Ladies Open at Evian Resort Golf Club after her third consecutive level-par 71 left her six shots off the top of the leaderboard.

It was a consistent week for Alexander, and a top-10 was a good reward for that consistency. The event was eventually won by Finland’s Tiia Koivisto after her closing 66 took her to six-under for the tournament, level with Australian Whitney Hillier. Koivisto won in a sudden-death play-off.

Alexander had a rough start to the day with bogeys on the first two holes, but she regained those two strokes with birdies on four and eight. But she bogeyed nine to turn in one-over, and then she made pars all the way until the 18th, where she picked up a birdie to finish strongly for her fourth top-10 of the season.

Alexander finished in a share of 10th with compatriot Lee-Anne Pace, who started the day in second, one off the lead. But she made four bogeys and just one birdie in her closing round for a three-over-par 74.

Nicole Garcia finished with something of a flourish, her one-under-par 70 taking her to three-over and a share of 27th. Lejan Lewthwaite was six-over in her final round to finish on 10-over in 56th.
