Dylan Frittelli carded a second-round three-under-par 67 in the second round of the PGA Tour’s RBC Canadian Open on Friday to make the cut on the number.

His round of six birdies and three bogeys took him to one-over for the tournament, and a share of 56th place together with, amongst others, Dawie van der Walt, who had a two-under 68 to get into the weekend.

They were eight shots off the lead which was held by Wyndham Clark of the United States after he followed his opening 63 with a level-par 70. Clark led by one from countrymen Alex Smalley, Keith Mitchell and Jim Knous, who were on six-under together with Matt Fitzpatrick and Rory McIlroy.

On the Korn Ferry Tour, MJ Daffue missed his first cut in a while after a four-under 68 in the second round of the BMW Charity Pro-Am in South Carolina wasn’t enough to get him into the weekend.

On the PGA Tour Champions circuit, Retief Goosen and David Frost opened with a one-over-par 73 each to be in a share of 54th behind the leader Steve Flesch of the United States, who was on seven-under-par.
