Lee-Anne Pace climbed into a share of 13th on Sunday with her closing three-under-par 69 in the final round of the Ladies European Tour’s Amundi German Masters.

She made seven birdies and four bogeys to move to six-under-par for the tournament, nine strokes behind the winner, Maja Stark of Sweden. Stark closed with a two-under 70 to finish one shot clear of Leonie Harm of Germany and fellow-Swede Jessica Karlsson, who finished on 14-under.

Pace’s finish had her in seventh place in the Race to Costa del Sol, the season-long competition to crown the LET’s number one player. Stark leads the race from multiple winner Linn Grant, also of Sweden, and another Swede, Johanna Gustavsson, is in third.

Casandra Alexander closed with a level-par 72 to finish in a share of 32nd, while Lejan Lewthwaite’s fourth round of one-over 73 saw her finish in a share of 55th.

Alexander is nicely placed at 15th on the Race to Costa del Sol, while Lewthwaite is down in 111th.
