Dylan Mostert added a three-under-par 69 to his two-under 70 on Friday to win the Bushveld Tour’s two-day event at Modderfontein Golf Club.

He won by two strokes from amateur Kian Rose and from Wade Pickering, both of whom carded four-under 68 in their pursuit of Mostert who led after the first round.

Leon Visser, Merrick Bremner and another amateur, Sam McKenzie, shared fourth on two-under. Bremner had the round of the day with his five-under 67, but it wasn’t enough to overcome his opening 75. Visser signed for his second 71 as did McKenzie.

For Mostert, it was vindication of the processes he has been working on, and which delivered him his first Sunshine Tour victory in the Kit Kat Group Pro Am just over a month ago at Irene on June 12.
