Jbe’ Kruger continued plugging away on Saturday in his title defence of the Japan Golf Tour’s and Asian Tour’s Shinhan Donghae Open with a third-round two-under-par 69.

That left him in a share of 31st on nine-under-par for the tournament. That was 10 strokes behind the leader Tirawat Kaewsiribandit of Thailand, who led by three from South Korea’s Si-Woo Kim. Canadian Yonggu Shin and Korean Sang-Hee Lee shared third on 15-under.

Kruger made just a single birdie on the front nine in his third round, on the ninth hole, and he picked up three birdies and dropped two shots with two bogeys on the back nine.
