Paula Reto finished in a share of 10th on Sunday with a closing two-under-par 70 in the final round of the LPGA Tour’s AmazingCre Portland Classic in Oregon.

Reto started the final round just one shot off the pace, and finished the tournament on 14-under-par for the week. That put her five strokes behind the winner, Andrea Lee of the United States. Lee won by one from Daniela Darquea of Ecuador, with five players in a share of third on 17-under-par.

Reto started with a bogey on the first hole, and made two more on the homeward nine on the 10th and 18th. She wasn’t as accurate as she would have liked, hitting just seven of 14 fairways and 12 of 18 greens in regulation. That meant her solid putting performance from the first and third rounds was not going to help her as much as it could have had she been more accurate. In the end, she had 29 putts, which was solid but not spectacular.

However, she remains in 31st position in the Race to CME Globe Standings, and is on course to play in the tour’s season finale.
