Dlamini inside top 20 in KPMG Women’s Irish Open

Nobuhle Dlamini of eSwatini played herself into the top 20 on Saturday in the third round of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open at Dromoland Castle with a two-under-par 70.

Dlamini made an eagle, three birdies and three bogeys to move to six-under-par for the tournament. She was five strokes behind the leader, Anne van Dam of the Netherlands, who also had a two-under-par 70 for the third round. At 11-under, she led by one from six players on 10-under, and six more on nine-under. Amongst those on nine-under was home favourite Leona Maguire, who carded a superb seven-under 65 to climb into contention.

South African Nicole Garcia and Casandra Alexander were in a share of 30th on four-under-par for the tournament after rounds of level-par 72 and one-over 73 respectively.
