Dylan Frittelli carded a two-under-par 68 on Friday in the second round of the PGA Tour’s ZOZO Championship in Chiba, Japan to stay in a share of 41st heading into the weekend.
Frittelli made three birdies and a bogey to move to one-under for the 78-man tournament after his opening one-over 71. He was nine strokes off the lead which was shared by Americans Andrew Putnam and a resurgent Rickie Fowler. Putnam had an eight-under 62 and Fowler a 63 to move to 10-under, one stroke clear of Keegan Bradley.
Christiaan Bezuidenhout, who opened with a two-under 68, battled his way to a three-over 73 in the second round with two birdies and five bogeys.
