With only one more tournament left on the Ladies European Tour’s schedule before the season closing Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open De Espana, Nicole Garcia is in 47th place on the Race to Costa del Sol rankings.
That comes after a tough weekend for Garcia in the Hero Women’s India Open. She carded a closing two-over-par 74 after a third-round 76 had dropped her out of contention. At three-over for the tournament, however, she was still able to finish in a share of 24th. She was 16 shots behind the winner, Olivia Cowan of Germany, who took her maiden LET title by three shots from Sweden’s Caroline Hedwall and Amandeep Drall of India who both finished on 10-under for the week.
The leading South African on the Race to Costa del Sol is Lee-Anne Pace in eighth, with Casandra Alexander in 26th.
