Brandon Stone moved to nine-under-par with a three-under-par 68 on Saturday in the third round of the Challenge Tour’s B-NL Challenge Trophy at Twentsche Golf Club in Deldenerbroek, Netherlands.
His four birdies and a bogey on the closing hole put him in a share of second place ahead of the final round. That was two strokes behind the lead which was held by Frenchman Benjamin Hebert. Stone shared second with Jesper Svensson of Sweden, Spain’s Joel Moschatel Nachshon and Alex Fitzpatrick of England, the brother of US Open champion Matt.
Martin Vorster carded a one-over-par 72 in the third round to slip to four-under and a share of 21st, while Haydn Porteous had a three-over-par 74 to move to two-over for the tournament and a share of 55th. Casey Jarvis battled to a five-over 76 and dropped all the way down to a share of 60th on four-over for the tournament.
The English trio of Pavan Sagoo, Alfie Plant and Ben Schmidt share sixth place on eight-under-par, with Englishmen David Langley and Will Enefer, American Cole Madey and German Velten Meyer in ninth, one shot further back.
