Casey Jarvis kept himself right in contention on Friday with a second-round four-under-par 68 in the Challenge Tour’s Copenhagen Challenge presented by Ejner Hessel at Royal Golf Club in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Jarvis shrugged off a bogey on the front nine and a double-bogey on his homeward nine as he made seven birdies to move to seven-under-par for the tournament and be in a share of second place heading in to the weekend. The lead was held by local player Alexander George Frances at eight-under after his second successive 68.
Together with Jarvis on seven-under were first-round leader Julian Suri of the United States and Matias Honkala of Finland. Italy’s Matteo Manassero was fifth on five-under after a second round of eight-under-par 64.
Also making the cut was Keenan Davidse who had a three-over 75 to move to one-over and a share of 33rd. JJ Senekal signed for a level-par 72 to reach two-over and a share of 48th. Dylan Mostert had a three-over 75 to make the cut on the number at three-over in a share of 59th.
