Stacy Bregman carded a three-under-par 69 on Friday in the first round of the Ladies European Tour’s Belgian Ladies Open at Naxhelet Golf Club in Wanze, Belgium to be in a share of sixth place.

The lead was held by Sweden’s Anna Magnusson, who had seven birdies and a bogey to lead by two from four players. There were nine other players on three-under in a share of sixth with Bregman.
It was a quiet opening round for the other South Africans in the field, with Lee-Anne Pace carding a one-over 73 for a share of 52nd, and Nicole Garcia and Casandra Alexander signing for a pair of two-over 74s and a share of 68th.
Swaziland’s Nobuhle Dlamini battled her way to a 10-over 82 and a share of 125th.
