Christiaan Bezuidenhout edged three places higher on the leaderboard on Saturday with a level-par 70 in the third round of the PGA Tour’s Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.
Bezuidenhout moved inside the top 25 on two-under-par for the tournament, eight shots off the lead heading into the final round. The lead was shared by Harry Hall of England and American Adam Schenk on 10-under after Hall carded a two-over 72 and Schenk a three-under 67. They were on clear of Harris English of the United States.
Viktor Hovland was in a group of four players in a share of sixth after he had a four-under 66, and world number one Scottie Scheffler battled to a two-over 72 to slip into a share of 10th on four-under for the tournament.
