Keith Horne closed with a two-under-par 70 on Sunday to move to two-under for the tournament and a share of ninth place in the Legends Tour’s Jersey Legends at La Moye Golf Club in St Helier, Jersey.
Two late bogeys for Horne – on the 17th and 18th – prevented him from finishing higher, but he made five birdies and one more bogey in that final round to finish the second tournament on the circuit in fourth place on the order of Merit.
He ended up seven shots behind the eventual winner, Richard Green of Australia, who carded a closing one-under 71 to hold off Greig Hutcheon of Scotland by one stroke. Hutcheon closed with a three-under 69, and his eight-under was two clear of countryman Euan McIntosh and England’s Peter Baker.
Chris Williams finished in a share of 16th after a closing 75 took him to level-par for the tournament, while Adilson Da Silva and James Kinston were in a share of 22nd on one-over after rounds of 73 and 73 respectively.
