South Africa’s top women’s golfer Ashleigh Buhai is down one spot on the latest Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings after her share of 68th in the US Women’s Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links last week.
There was little change for the top four South Africans on the list, with just two women in action in the major championship. Paula Reto, who missed the cut at Pebble Beach, was also down one. So was Lee-Anne Pace and Nicole Garcia, the fourth-best South African, was unchanged.
Everyone else in the list of top 10 South Africans was down slightly as shuffling happened above them thanks to changes from the US Women’s Open.
South Africa’s top 10:
- Ashleigh Buhai 16 (down 1)
- Paula Reto 82 (down 1)
- Lee-Anne Pace 176 (down 1)
- Nicole Garcia 230 (unchanged)
- Casandra Alexander 278 (down 5)
- Kaleigh Telfer 530 (down 4)
- Stacy Bregman 624 (unchanged)
- Nadia van der Westhuizen 726 (down 8)
- Kiera Floyd 735 (down 11)
- Lejan Lewthwaite 943 (down 10)
