Casey Jarvis carded a five-under-par 65 on Saturday to pull five strokes clear of his pursuers after the third round of the Challenge Tour’s Euram Bank Open at GC Adamstal in Ramsau, Austria.

As he did in each of the first two rounds, Jarvis dropped just a single shot in the third round. His single bogey came after he had already made six birdies through 15 holes, and it was not enough to stop him racing out to 17-under-par for the tournament.

That put him well clear of veteran Welshman Stuart Manley, who had the round of the day with a nine-under-par 61. He reached 12-under for the tournament and that was one clear of Euan Walker of Scotland and Julian Suri of the United States.

Further down the leaderboard, Dylan Naidoo consolidated his position during a solid performance with a third-round two-under-par 68. That took him to seven-under and a share of 14th.

Brandon Stone had a three-under 67 to move to a share of 32nd on four-under-par, Luke Jerling was on three-under after a level-par 70, and JJ Senekal and Keenan Davidse were in a share of 51st on two-under-par.
