Neil Schietekat slipped to a closing five-over-par 76 on Sunday as he finished in a share of 12^th in the Asian Tour’s International Series England at Close House near Newcastle.

After starting the final round in second place, just one off the lead of Andy Ogletree, Schietekat made just one birdie while dropping six shots in his final round to finish up 13 strokes behind Ogletree. The American carded a closing seven-under 64 to move to 16-under and a runaway seven-stroke margin over second-placed Ian Poulter. India’s Anirban Lahiri was third on eight-under after his closing 68.

Jaco Ahlers also had a closing five-over 76 to finish in a share of 31^st on two-over for the tournament. MJ Viljoen had a 74 to finish 10-over in a share of 65^th and Jbe’ Kruger’s three-over 74 saw him finish 71^st.
