Jacques Kruyswijk carded a three-under-par 64 on Thursday on the par-67 Askersunds Golfklubb in Åmmeberg, Sweden, to be in a share of 10th after the first round of the Challenge Tour’s Dormy Open.

It was a bogey-free start for Kruyswijk on a course without any par-fives, and  he was three shots off the lead which was held by Sweden’s Rikard Karlberg. Karlberg was one clear of compatriot Adam Blomme, England’s Brandon Robinson Thompson and Ireland’s Conor O’Rourke. Karlberg was one of six players who made an eagle two on the par-four 11th hole.

Dylan Mostert had a one-under 66 to be in a share of 39th while Haydn Porteous was on one-over 68. Zimbabwe’s Benjamin Follett-Smith was on level-par 67.
