Top 10 for Kingston in Staysure Seniors PGA Championship

James Kingston finished the Legends Tour’s Staysure Seniors PGA Championship at Trump International Golf Links in Balmedie, Scotland on Sunday with a one-under-par 71 giving him a share of ninth place.

Kingston made three birdies and two bogeys in the final round to finish on level-par for the tournament. That was 12 strokes behind the winner, Peter Baker of England, who is comfortably atop the Legends Tour’s season’s rankings. Baker won by six from countryman Greg Owen, with Welshman Bradley Dredge and New Zealand’s Michael Campbell a firther four shots back on two-under in a share of third.

Behind Kingston, Doug McGuigan closed with a two-over 74 to finish on three-over in a share of 14th. Defending champion Adilson Da Silva also had a fourth-round 74 and finished in 29th on seven-over. Keith Horne battled to a seven-over 79 to be 10-over in a share of 40th, while Chris Williams closed with a 90 to finish on 21-over in 62nd.
