Thomas Aiken moved closer to the top 10 on Friday with a second round of four-under-par 67 in the DP World Tour’s KLM Open at The International in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Aiken made six birdies and two bogeys to move to six-under-par through 36 holes. He was four strokes off the lead which was set by the dour Finn, Mikko Korhonen. Korhonen, returning from a long-term injury, carded a three-under 68 to move to 10-under and one clear of Sean Crocker. Ross Fisher and James Morrison of England were in a share of third on eight-under.
There were six players on six-under, and Aiken shared 11th with 11 other players.
Jaco Prinsloo and Jayden Schaper were two shots back on four-under in a share of 26th after rounds of four-under and two-under respectively.
Robin Williams and Casey Jarvis each signed for a level-par 71 and, at two-under for 36 holes, were in a share of 40th. Ockie Strydon, Zander Lombard and Darren Fichardt were on one-under I na share of 49th.
Brandon Stone, Dylan Frittelli, Louis de Jager, Pieter Moolman, Jacques Kruyswijk, Oliver Bekker and Justin Harding all missed the cut.
