Casandra Alexander carded her third successive two-under-par 70 on Tuesday and will head into the final round of the Ladies European Tour’s Amundi German Masters at Golf & Country Club Seddiner See in 11th place.
It was a late double-bogey which kept her from being closer to the lead than her current deficit of seven shots. Alexander was cruising along at four-under-par for her third round when she made a double on the par-four 15th. She had made five birdies and dropped a shot at the seventh before that.
The lead was shared by Cara Gainer of England and Kristyna Napoleaova of the Czech Republic at 13-under-par, and they had a two-stroke edge over Diksha Dagar of India. Aleander was one shot ahead of four players in a share of 12th.
Lejan Lewthwaite and Stacy Bregman missed the cut on Friday.
