Casandra Alexander carded a two-under-par 70 on Friday in the suspended first round of the Ladies European Tour’s Aramco Team Series-Florida at Trump International in Palm Beach, Florida.

While some players were through just nine holes, Alexander’s three birdies and a bogey were enough to have her in the clubhouse in a share of fifth place together with Gabriella Cowley of England and Alison Lee of the United States. In the lead with a completed round of five-under-par 67 was Spain’s Niria Iturrioz, and she was one clear of Johanna Gustavsson of Sweden, who was four-under through 13.

Nicole Garcia was in a share of 34th after a two-over 74, and Lee-Anne Pace was also on two-over through 14 holes.

The quartet of Pauline Roussin, Nuria Iturrioz, Trish Johnson and amateur Michael Bickford stormed to the top of the pile with a phenomenal round of 16-under-par. Team Lydia Ko and Team Alexander sit in a share of second place on the leaderboard on 13-under-par.
