Play was suspended for the day at Aramco Team Series Presented by PIF-Korea due to weather conditions. With the rain pouring down during round two at New Korea Country Club the horn sounded at 4:15pm on Saturday calling the afternoon’s players in.
A decision was later made to suspend the action for the remainder of the day. Competitors yet to finish their second rounds in both the team and individual competitions will now return to the course on Sunday morning at 6:45am to complete their cards. This applies to all of Saturday’s afternoon’s groups – 54 players and 18 teams.
South Africa’s Casandra Alexander was in a share of ninth when play was suspended, at level-par through eight holes. She was at one-over for the tournament. Colombia’s Mariajo Uribe was sitting one shot clear on five-under-par.
Cara Gorlei had carded a six-over 78 to be in a share of 50th together with, amongst others, Nicole Garcia, who was four-over through eight holes.
