Oliver Bekker moved to within one round of playing his way onto the LIV Golf circuit for 2026 as a wild card player when he carded a four-under-par 66 on Saturday in the third round of the LIV Golf Promotions event.

Playing at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida, Bekker followed a pair of 67s in the ‘play-in’ round and the second round with five birdies and a bogey in the third round after 22 players made it to the weekend.

In the final two rounds, the scores will be aggregated and the top three players will be added to the LIV Golf roster for 2026 as wild card players to play as individuals with the regular 54 players in the individual competitions. They will play no part in the team contests.

Bekker heads into the final round in a share of second place, two strokes behind Canadian Richard T Lee, who had a six-under-par 64 on Saturday. On four-under with Bekker were Thailand’s Jazz Janewattananond and Anthony Kim, the American former star who had two years on the LIV Golf tour after his return to the game after a long absence.

Dane Lukas Bjerregaard was in fifth on three-under, and there were five players on one-under ahead of the final round.

Herman Loubser and Louis Albertse were unable to advance past the second round on Friday.

Kieran Vincent of Zimbabwe goes into the final round with a level-par 70 behind him on Saturday, putting him in a share of 11th.
