Christiaan Bezuidenhout closed with a one-over-par 71 on Sunday to finish in a share of 22nd in the weather-affected PGA Tour event, the Wyndham Championship.
That made sure he gets to play in the FedExCup Playoffs, as he is currently ranked 22nd in the FedExCup. The top 70 get into the FedEx St Jude Championship, and the top 50 into the BMW Championship. He will need to stay in the top 30 to qualify for the Tour Championship.
Bezuidenhout made two bogeys on his front nine after starting the final round on the 10th, and he made two birdies and a bogy after the turn for his 71. He finished on 10-under-par for the tournament, eight strokes behind the winner, Aaron Rai of England who took his maiden PGA Tour title.
Erik van Rooyen missed the cut, but he makes into the FedEx St Jude Championship at 58th with work to do if he is to get into the top 50 for the BMW Championship.
Garrick Higgo also missed the cut and he is well out of the Playoffs in 150th position.
