Christiaan Bezuidenhout held it together well on Saturday with a bogey-free three-under-par 69 putting him a share of fourth place after the third round of the PGA Tour Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Bezuidenhout opened with a birdie and picked up two more around the turn, on the eighth and the 11th. At nine-under-par, he was five strokes behind the leader Scottie Scheffler, who fired a seven-under 65 to move to 14-under, two shots clear of Australia’s Min Woo Lee. Fellow-Australian Cam Davis was in third on 10-under-par. Bezuidenhout shared fourth with England’s Aaron Rai and Tommy Fleetwood and American Chad Ramey.
Garrick Higgo had a four-under 68 in the third round to move to five-under for the tournament and a share of 27th.
