Bogey-free start for Kruyswijk in ISCO Championship on PGA Tour

Jacques Kruyswijk grabbed a rare opportunity to start on the PGA Tour when he opened his campaign on Thursday in the ISCO Championship on the Championship Course at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky with a six-under-par 66.

In a PGA Tour and DP World Tour co-sanctioned tournament which is up against the Genesis Scottish Open, Kruyswijk made an eagle and four birdies without dropping a shot, and was in a share of 13th after Pierceson Coody had a bogey-free 11-under 61 to lead by three.

In a share of second on eight-under were Rico Hoey of the Philippines and American Hayden Springer, with nine players on seven-under in a share of fourth. Kruyswijk shared 13th with nine other players.

One stroke back on five-under in a share of 23rd were Thomas Aiken and Garrick Higgo, while Jayden Schaper opened with a four-under-par 68 for a share of 43rd. MJ Daffue signed for a three-under 69 and a share of 60th and Casey Jarvis had a one-under 71 in a share of 107th.
