Bregman 5th ahead of final round in LET Pre-Qualifier Marrakech

Stacy Bregman carded a three-under-par 69 on Monday to move into a share of 15th place ahead of the final round of the Ladies European Tour’s Pre-Qualifier Marrakech at Golf Club Rotana.

Players finishing in the top-26 and ties at Noria and the top-27 and ties at Rotana and Samanah will progress to the Final Stage of Lalla Aicha Q-School.

Bregman made six birdies and three bogeys, and, after her opening round of level-par 72, she is on three-under for the 54-hole Pre-Qualifier Rotana. She was joined on that score by Zethu Myeki, who also had a second-round 69 with five birdies and two bogeys.

At the Pre Qualifier Samanah, Cara Gorlei was in a share of fifth after her second round of one-over-par 73. She made three birdies and two bogeys as she dropped from a share of second after her first round to two-under for the tournament. Britney Fay Berger battled to a seven-over 79 and was in a share of 57th.

At the Pre Qualifier Noria, Lindi Coetzee was in a share of 19th after her second round of two-under-par 71. She made three birdies and a bogey to move to one-over for the 36 holes. Amateur Danielle du Toit was on the cusp of going through to Final Stage in a share of 25th after a one-over 74 in the second round. At three-over, she needs a good closing round to ensure she advances. Isabella van Rooyen was in a share of 50th on five-over after she had a second round of three-over-par 76.

At Samanah, Iceland’s Ragga Kristinsdottir and USA’s Aneka Seumanutafa were tied at the top, while over at Noria there was a three-way tie for the lead. China’s Tian Xiaolin, Scotland’s Alison Muirhead, and Singapore’s Shannon Tan werre all atop the leaderboard there, while English amateur Annabell Fuller wass still in front at Palmerie Rotana.
