Robin Williams clicked into top gear on Saturday with a superb bogey-free nine-under-par 63 catapulting him into the top 10 ahead of the final round of the DP World Tour’s D+D REAL Czech Masters at PGA National OAKS Prague in Prague, Czech Republic.

Williams, playing the tournament on an invitation as he awaits the start of his official exemption on the DP World Tour for finishing second on last season’s Sunshine Tour Order of Merit, made seven birdies and an eagle as he raced up the leaderboard into a share of seventh on 13-under-par.

With one round to go, he was three strokes off the lead which was held by Swede Jesper Svensson, who had a four-under 68 to move to 16-under. Svensson was one shot ahead of France’s David Ravetto, with four players in a share of third on 14-under. Williams shared seventh with Andy Sullivan of England, Francesco Laporta of Italy and Scotland’s Richie Ramsay.

Williams made four birdies in the first eight holes before he made his eagle on the par-five eighth. He made three more birdies on the back nine, while missing out on making a four on the par-five 13th.

Behind Williams, Thomas Aiken had a six-under 66 to move to 11-under and a share of 12th, while Pieter Moolman, who led after the first round, carded a one-under 71 to move into a share of 34th on nine-under. Brandon Stone had a four-under 68, and, at eight-under, was in a share of 44th.
