Brilliant 63 for Easton lifts him to share of 8th in Dormy Open

Bryce Easton had a superb back nine on Friday as he signed for a second round of eight-under-par 63 in the HotelPlanner Tour’s Dormy Open at Upsala Golf Club in Upsala, Sweden.

Easton reached the turn in a bogey-free two-under-par 33, and he made an eagle and four birdies on the back nine as he came home in six-under-par 30 to climb to a share of eighth on the leaderboard at the halfway mark.

At nine-under for the tournament, he was six strokes behind the leader, Felix Mory of France. Mory had a six-under 65 in the second round to pull one stroke clear at 14-under of John Gough of England, who had a 64. Scotland’s Jamie Ritherford was third on 12-under.

Daniel van Tonder had a one-under 70 in the second round to slide down the leaderboard to a share of 32nd on six-under-par. Also on six-under was Jovan Rebula, who also had a one-under 70 in the second round.

Nikhil Rama and JC Ritchie missed the cut.
