Luke Brown carded a second-round of four-under-par 68 on Tuesday to win the Bushveld Tour’s two-day event at Serengeti Golf and Wildlife Estate by two shots.

Brown, who currently lies 59th on the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit, took his second Bushveld Tour title as he made seven birdies and three bogeys on his way to the closing 68, which he added to his opening round of six-under 66. His 10-under total gave him victory over Zimbabwe’s Benjamin Follet-Smith, who closed with a 67. Amateurs Christiaan Burke and Samuel Simpson shared fourth on seven-under for the 36 holes.

Brown took his first Bushveld Tour title back in January when he won another two-day event at Reading Country Club, holding off Sunshine Tour veteran Keith Horne by a single stroke. His best performance on the Sunshine Tour in the 2021 season was his share of fifth in the opening Kit Kat Group Pro-Am in March.

He opened his final round at Serengeti with a bogey, and made other on the eighth, but three birdies helped him turn one-under. He made four more birdies on the back nine – and just a single bogey – as he pulled clear for the victory.
