Ashleigh Buhai made six birdies and two bogeys on Friday on her way to a second-round score of four-under-par 68 in the LPGA Tour’s FM Championship at TPC Boston in Norton, Massachusetts.
That lifted her to three-under-par for the tournament, 10 strokes behind the leader in a share of 12th. In the lead was Korean Haeran Ryu, who had a brilliant bogey-free 10-under-par 62 in her second round. She had a six-stroke lead over Bianca Pagdanganan of the Philippines, Australia’s Robyn Choi and American Yealimi Noh.
Buhai was in a nine-way tie for 12th, while compatriot Paula Reto missed the cut after she added a one-over 73 to her opening two-over-par 74.
