Ashleigh Buhai battled her way to a closing three-over-par 74 on Sunday in the final round of the LPGA Tour’s Fir Hills Seri Pak Championship at Palos Verdes Golf Club in Los Angeles, California.
Her two birdies and five bogeys took her to a tournament total of one-under-par and that gave her a share of 27th.
Up ahead, Nelly Korda defeated her fellow American Ryann O’Toole in a one-hole play-off after finishing bogey-bogey to take home her 10th career LPGA Tour title and second win of the 2024 LPGA Tour season. Both players were on nine-under-par after regulation play. They were one shot clear of Australian Gabriella Ruffels and Alison Lee of the United States.
“Interesting last couple of holes,” said Korda. “Eagle, bogey, birdie, bogey, bogey. I say this all the time, but I seem to always make it interesting. Just doing normal Nelly things, making it interesting.”
Paula Reto also closed with a three-over 74 to finish the week on two-over and in a share of 44th.
