Dean Burmester finished best of the four South Africans on Sunday when he carded a three-under-par 68 in the final round of LIV Golf-Singapore to finish in a share of 14th at Sentosa Golf Club.

He reached eight-under-par for the 54-hole event, finishing seven strokes behind the winner, Brooks Koepka of the United States. Koepka won by two from the Australian duo of Cameron Smith and Marc Leishman. The all-Australian Ripper GC profited from that strong showing by winning the team contest for the second tournament in a row after taking the title at home in Adelaide.

Burmester made six birdies and three bogeys in his closing round, and he stayed at third in the individual standings after seven events. He has a victory and three top-10s to his credit.

Next best of the South Africans was Louis Oosthuizen who closed with a level-par 71 to finish in a share of 22nd on six-under. Branden Grace had a two-under 69 in the final round and was in a share of 32nd on three-under, while Charl Schwartzel was a shot further back in a share of 35th after his level-par 71.

The all-South African Stinger GC finished in 10th place in the team race.
